Maple Syrup Tours & Pancake Brunch

Try our homemade maple syrup with pancakes, sausage, coffee, milk and hot chocolate. Visit a winter gathering of friends and family. You may need to dress warmly.

*Event runs from 10am-2pm.


April 19, 2008-
Green Up Day

Bring your hammer, work gloves and paint brushes and join in fun of sprucing up the Village. Any one wishing to participate should contact us at 513-897-1120 or email us at ccpv@embarqmail.com. Organizations welcome and pre-registration appreciated.


May 16 2008-
Pioneer Village School Days

Join us for a fun filled day of learning how pioneers settled Ohio. All schools, home schools and special needs classes welcome. Pre-registration is required. Please contact us for additional information. Registration forms and school curriculum packets available online.

Pioneer Village Spring Gathering

Come join us and start the season at our Spring Gathering. Please contact Dave Pitney, Art Lovejoy, Steve Reynolds for additional information on this event. Ole' Tyme Music Festival

Enjoy sounds of the past: hammered dulcimers, banjos, and guitars while touring a Village brought to life by historical Reenactors. Visit our music stages for folk music, clogging and a children's area. Friday night banjo contest and Saturday afternoon a fiddle contest. Check back for a schedule of events the first part of June.

Cruise In and Ice Cream Festival

Come join us and relive the memories of your favorite classic cars. Enjoy the music and Ice Cream as you stroll thru the Village.

Open House

Come join us as you step back in time and enjoy the memories of yesterday


September 20 & 21 2008-
Civil War Encampment

Learn about the life of a Union soldier in 1863. Groups of Civil War Reenactors representing infantry, artillery, and cavalry units from Ohio and other states will be camped in the Village. See the Units square off on the battlefield each afternoon. Check back for a schedule of events the first part of September.

October 18 & 19, 2008-
Harvest Festival

Come celebrate a harvest as it was 1800. The village will be preparing for winter with making apple butter, hominy, candles, and more. A harvest to remember! Check back the first of October for a schedule of events.


October 25, 2008-
Pioneer Trick or Treat Night

Bring the children for a fun time! There will be plenty of goodies and spooky stories for all to enjoy. This is a special event for the children and free admission.. Hot dogs, hot chocolate, cider and juice available to purchase at the Bull Skin Inn. Sweet Shoppe will be open with treats for sale.

*Hours will be 3pm - 7pm
Warm dress is heartily reccomended


November 1-2 2008-
Pioneer Village Fall Gathering

Come join us for the Gathering of the Clans. There will be plenty of food, drink and merriment for you to enjoy as you browse through the many wares of the craftsmen who have set up shop for the weekend. Check back in October for a schedule of events.

December 6, 2008-
Christmas Candelight Tour

Christmas in the 18th century was quite different from today's celebrations. Come see how we celebrate at the village. Tour the Village by candlelight and enjoy the hearth heated cider and hot chocolate.Check back in November for a schedule of events.
